CAN I APPLY NEEM OIL ON FACE OVERNIGHT?
To apply Neem oil on face at night, dilute equal parts of Neem Oil with
Sweet Almond/Sesame Oil and Apply on clean skin, massage gently in an upward
direction. Then, ensure it remains on for no more than thirty minutes. Wash it off
with a mild cleanser. Do not leave it overnight
How to make Organic neem oil for face:
Neem oil and coconut oil both offer benefits for face and skin. Let’s discuss now about how to make organic neem oil at home for face and hair:
- Take some fresh leaves and wash the
leaves thoroughly. Spread on a flat surface to drain the water.
- Once dried, place them in the blender and pulse until they are finely chopped.
- Transfer them to a bowl and add your oil of choice (Olive oil, Coconut oil) to cover the leaves.
- Add water in a pot on a stovetop and
bring in the bowl having the blended neem leaves; to which you have added
oil. This method is known as the double-boiling method. It prevents direct
heating of the leaves and that’s why preserving most of the nutrients in
the neem leaves.
- Continue to boil and stir until the leaves change or fade in color, and the oil assumes the greenish hue of the neem leaves. Then, remove from heat and strain through a fine sieve.
- Your Neem oil is ready for use. It can be stored in a clean, dark bottle.
